Bevan Group gains experienced service desk manager with strong skills base

Aftercare Response, Bevan’s aftercare provider that gets your vehicle back on the road in 90 minutes or less, has recently recruited Trevor Stevens the company’s highly skilled new Service Desk Manager.

Trevor’s role will be to deliver a professional customer service through the service desk team and extensive field based engineering work.

With over 40 years experience in the motor trade, he has taken on a range of roles at garages and main dealers, including running workshops to supplier negotiations, as well as technical diagnosis on engine, transmissions and chassis.

An impressive portfolio

Trevor has an impressive portfolio of both qualifications and experience, having completed a City and Guilds apprenticeship, as well as obtaining various management qualifications. 

Spending 16 years with BT, Trevor was promoted from the workshop to head office and became involved in the purchase of garage equipment, formal contract preparation and tender documents and technical specifications.

He went on to manage teams of maintenance controllers at Newtown Vehicle Rentals (NVR) and Petitforestier, as well as controlling workshop spend across all 12 of Petitforestier’s workshops.
